We wanted a skincare product that goes beyond moisturising, we wanted a natural product without toxic and harmful ingredients that delivers nourishing hydration. So in 2020, our Founder - Esha a.k.a Mama Johnson created a home-made cream as a solution for her newborn great-nieces eczema and dry skin. And the rest is history…

What began as a small hobby to help out family and friends soon turned into a high in demand product with repeat customers sometimes ordering up to ten tubs of cream at a time. From helping with dry skin, brittle nails to hair breakage and skin conditions such as eczema, customers were sharing positive feedback from their experience of using DryKin. Soon, Mama J started getting orders from around the UK and roped in her husband who then rallied in their three daughters. They decided if they were going to do this properly, it was all family hands on deck! In February 2024 DryKin was launched.

Why DryKin? Well at first, the name began as a joke. Mama Johnson wanted to create a family skincare product with a difference and everyone’s response proved it was going to put a smile on many faces. DryKin is a Caribbean phrase for extremely dry skin inspired by the colloquial saying ‘Yuk kin dry sah’, meaning your skin needs moisturising.

We pride ourselves on using a variety of all natural ingredients and organic oils in DryKin which are handmade in Birmingham.

We are a UK skincare brand made for all the family and family-owned who provide all natural ingredients, cruelty free and affordable products that nourish the skin.
